Hi all, My I-485 was recently transferred to NBC from Texas. I’m waiting for EAD, AP for around for 8 months from Texas before it got transferred. What can I expect if anything? I heard NBC is much faster and more efficient.I485 transferred to a field office in different state. My i485 was filed at MSC and the uscis status page shows that my application is still with the MSC. But today when enquired about the status ,I was told that my application is at the field office in San Jose which is in a different state . Is it normal for the application to be transferred ...Got a receipt this week that mentions that my case has been transferred to NBC, Lee's summit, MO. Noticed that https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ doesn't list NBC at Missouri. I don't know on what basis my attorney sent my I-485/I-765/I-131 to National Benefit Center in Missouri. While the I-485 was transferred, I-131 & I-765 continues to be with NBC.Update July 30, 2021. We received EAD / AP approval on 07/17/2021 for an employment-based I-485 filed on October 27, 2020. The applicant completed biometrics on March 18, 2021. PD: 07/22/2010 India. EB2. I filed late Jan 2020, Bio in March and got EAD late July, this pieces are handled by NBC. The I-485 at some point was transferred to the field office, they handle the interview scheduling, interview, adjudication etc. Unfortunately for you and I , MN is known to be extremely slow. What I know is NBC doesn’t process 485. They transfer to a FO. Talk to Emma and ask what’s the date your case was transferred to a FO. Maybe you will have luck and they’re gonna tell you.
